The God of Poisons

DONE! *dies*

This is now going to be my central piece for my senior art show. I don't know how many hours I spent on this, but most of it was on his God-damned skin (*snrrk* nerdy pun alert). This was a learning experience, that's for sure. I could probably have spent even more time on his skin, but I had to stop 'cause I was running out of time. X_X Here is the line art version.

I'm amused some people commenting on the line art took the title "God of Poisons" so literally. Many things can be considered poisonous, after all. XD So this guy is also a god of corruption and evil, although he was originally a good fire god. (You can even still see a few fire emblems on his kilt, and in the sun above his head.) BTW, those lotuses in the background symbolize forgetfulness, hence the languid, blank expression on his face.
