I know this is just a doodle, but may I offer a teensy bit of criticism? Just two things I wanna point out, really. Nothing big, either.

First of all, I'm not really digging the inside of Ariel's mouth. Just painting it all white makes it seem a bit too bland and less detailed. What I think is, if you were going for her smiling a lovely smile, scribble in some lines or somethat that identify the teeth, and if she's laughing or open mouthed, just make some detail to show that. It's just that her mouth is a large part of her facial expression and seeing it like that takes away from the picture a bit.

Second, her right [ viewer's right] arm seems a bit too masculine. xD She seems to have a very pronounced bicep. If she's really that buff, then ignore this, but it just seems out of place because she seems so petite and feminine.

Everything else looks absolutely lovely, though. I am ADORING Ariel's hair and dress [ Yes people would SO wear that at a prom. I've actually seems some people wear things similar to that at my senior prom.] I love how detailed and colorful the butterfly is. I'll be honest, I didn't expect this to be the picture. xD; I was expecting a fairy or a real butterfly or something. :3 This exceeded my expectations.

Sam looks so different back there. D: But he is handsome, I'll give him that. His eyes are so big and shiny. ;__; <3

Well, I appreciate the critique, although for this picture I wasn't really expecting it because I didn't put too much time into it. That's why I left her mouth kind of blank. I tried adding a little bit of color to suggest some teeth, but she looked really manic. I'll try again (since I also forgot to draw in the heart necklace Sam gave her). XD; As for the arm, I like drawing women with a little muscle tone. Also, Ariel is on her high school swim team, though no one but me knows that (it's supposed to be a minor plot point because Sam can't swim, and is terrified of any body of water larger than a bathtub).

As for the name...I really suck at thinking up titles. "Prom dress" seemed really lame, as did "butterfly dress". <_< I'm glad you liked it anyway.

Sam cleans up nicely. He's an incubus--he has to know how to appeal to women. Although the hairdo caught Ari by surprise (he was her junior prom date...but not her senior).

I have to get around to drawing a comic of this sometime soon. Maybe this summer, for once... XP

I like the dress--it makes me think along the lines of a Egyptian-type design. The top part resembles a fancy neckpiece worn by the royalty, and the dress itself looks like the flowing clothing of the time.

*hug* From one person who skipped her Prom to another, I don't think we missed anything (aside from the usual stupidity of our high school classmates).
